And Happy Chanukah and everything else for you non-chris-missy types. I don't take religion too seriously (unless it's trying to make law or kill me), but I still enjoy the Season of goodwill and good vibes, colored lights and festive foods. The Winter Solstice has long been celebrated - the returning of the light (yay!) - but I feel like there's a more human element to it than that. Because of the unseasonably warm weather (which I do enjoy) and all the other distractions recently, it hasn't really felt much like Christmas to me this year, but I still try to enjoy it. I hope you do too!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes and emails (Dec. 18th in case you missed it. Belated gifts aren't a problem ;)). I had a lovely time eating way too much. Food seems to be the gift of choice as people get older. That and booze, so after the holidays I think I will be hitting the gym. I can't believe how much folks STUFFED my face since TG. Kind of hard to resist when it's there. *burp* Anyway....
I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and happy holiday season!! I threw together a quick video to mark the occasion since a still photo seems so... still.
I kind of think with all the violence and horror man bestows upon man, baby Jeebus wouldn't be too happy with the place right now. That's kind of where the music goes with this. I didn't think about making a video until Christmas eve (if it wasn't for the last minute...). It took more time to render the video than make the music, but I hope you enjoy it.
If you missed the FNP interview back in November, the show is now archived so you can listen on demand: Friday Night Progressive: Bill Berends interview and award show. You may find it entertaining. A lot of folks have told me I should do more explaining about the music, so maybe on my new TV show "Bill TV" coming whenever I get around to it.
That's it for now. New tunes are ALMOST ready but I thought the Christmas video might entertain you. Oh! The car passed inspection which was a great BD gift! And, I got the TANK recordings from brother Rich at Thanksgiving dinner, so that should turn into something in 2015.
Love and Light and Good Will Toward Men (and Women ;)). Enjoy the holidaze!
