Marshall 1960A cabinet modified to 2x12 like the rare, mid-80's factory made 1961 cabinets. I saw one at a guy's house - never saw one before - and thought cool! I hated the 1936 2x12 cabinet boxy MDF sound, but still wanted a 2x12. I had an empty 1960 so figured I'd give this a try. I split up 4x12 from an old B cab into two cabinets & blocked the empty holes. It gives me the big box *thump* of a 1960 but moves less air. Great for smaller rooms. I installed a series jack connection in one cab so I can set up a full stack that's 2x2x12 @ 16 ohms. Looks cool, great for medium rooms, plus it the cabs are about 15 lbs lighter. Nice.
