Session work: beyond recording bands in my studio, I am also available as a session musician and producer.

I am always looking for interesting work as a guitarist for hire, either locally or via the internet. I can also play killer bass on your recording (but not in your band, so don't ask) and I am highly skilled at MIDI drum programming & instrumental arrangements.

Available for hire to produce and/or engineer in the studio of your choosing, this is how I have been making a living for several decades (along with album royalties). It takes more than a PC and a soundcard to make a musical sounding recording and I have worked both freelance and staff in some of the area's largest studios. Having a keen outside ear is often the difference between an okay, or a great end product and I have been hired to get guitar and drum sounds for clients in outside studios, arrange songs & vocals, and oversee the recording process from pre-production to final mastering.

In addition, I offer digital mixing and mastering services in my studio working with files sent over the internet, or by having the client present in the studio. Mastering is THE final step in the recording chain and can make all the difference between an amatuer or a professional sounding recording. More often than not, the end results are better without the client present.

I am willing to travel for the right situation. This includes live sound mixing and possibly touring. Inquire about rates.

I have also written and produced commercial music for film, television, advertising, music libraries, and would like to get into scoring for video games. If your project requires assistance on the creative end as well as the technical side, I am well suited for the task.
